Based in the heart of Bridgend at Minerva Street, we’re a group of Christians who gather to the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Join us this Sunday at 6.30pm as we explain how God showed His love towards this world.

God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

The Christian assembly at Bridgend started over a century ago, in 1911. It has been on the present site since 1950, and the buildings were rebuilt in the 1980s.

Over the years, we have continued to reach others with the wonderful news of God’s love for mankind. God sent His Son Jesus into the world, so that He might live as a perfect man, and then give His life to be our Saviour.

We believe that the Bible is God’s Word, and that it is completely reliable for this life and the life to come. It teaches us that Jesus Christ died for our sins, that he was buried, and that He rose from death on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures.

All of us are sinners and deserve God’s punishment, but God’s Son was willing to suffer and die in our place. So all who want to turn away from sin and trust Him can have everlasting life in heaven, instead of facing the punishment for their sins.

    Jesus did not stay dead, but rose from the dead to show His power as God.

    Christ Jesus ascending to heaven.

    Crucified and rejected now returns to God the Father providing a way into heaven for all who put their faith and trust in Him. Christians will follow where Christ has already gone.
